Self catering holiday cottages, Primrose and Jasmine are uniquely located on the edge of the picture card village of Clapham within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. These cottages offer even the most discerning guest clean and comfortable accomodation within one of the most prettiest locations in Yorkshire.

These dog friendly cottages allow a stroll from the door to the infamous Farrer nature trail, walk along the banks of the limestone edged lake and collect your daily news paper from the village shop all before returning home to that special holiday cooked breakfast.

This sypathetically created barn conversion has produced two rental cottages of outstanding design and quality. With exposed beams and woodburning stove these cottages are superbly appointed and are sure to enhance any vacation. They offer a well equipped Kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, separate freezer and dishwasher. And are also ideal for group bookings as in total we can sleep 10 people.

The comfortable lounge and dining areas contain a multi channel colour television and log burning stove. There are two bedrooms one double and one twin in both cottages, however Jasmine is slightly larger and contains a bed settee, should an extra guest wish to stay. A tiled bathroom with bath/shower is also provided and when required a cot and high chair can be arranged.

Amazing walks straight from the doorstep

Outside can be found a secure landscaped patio area with table and chairs. A gas barbecue is also provided. Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement.

Country walks commence straight from the doorstep either a gentle stroll through the woods and nature trail, or a more challenging route to the three peaks. The village offers a small number of cafés, the village shop and local pub.

Numerous other restaurants and pubs can be found only 10 minutes away by car, including takeaways.

The area also provides good golf courses, fly fishing, cycling and pony trekking. The English Lake District is only 20 miles away offering its own charm and amenities. Equally a similar distance away can be found interesting coastal towns and villages.

In fact there is so much to do and see in this wonderful location that your stay with us has all the ingredients of being the best holiday ever.
